Hi Adults,
Sometimes it may feel like you are a lost and recovering addict with your habits. You might wonder “why does this keep repeating? Why can’t I change anything? Why do I feel stuck?” Sometimes it is easier to stay in these repetitive cycles because you haven’t found an effective resolution. Maybe therapy hasn’t helped you move forward as much as you would have liked, or maybe you feel like all the advice you’ve been following just isn’t doing much.
Navigating what works for you and what doesn’t may feel overwhelming because the volume of advice can be endless. The problem is those strategies are not individualized to you and your circumstances. More importantly, navigating all of this alone can be exhausting. People are wired for support and community, but it can be hard to find those individuals. Let’s work together to practice new strategies in a safe space.
